Darjeeling 1st Flush (Organic)

After the foundation of the garden in 1861, Ambootia firmly established its name in Darjeeling throughout the following decades. In 1987, after the takeover and reorganisation by the current owner, the garden moved up into the first league and has now been producing organically cultivated teas for more than 20 years. The estate covers an area of almost 1,000 hectares, with 350 of them covered by tea. Ambootia literally means “place of the mango trees”. Multi-faceted spring harvest, nicely flowery and grassy with a truly well-balanced, full body.
